Section One - The Secret of Knowing
Excerpt
Archeologist and former Cairo Museum director Taher Mustafa had experienced many eventful years in his profession. His discovery in 1945 of the seventy-three original Greek gospels, never released to the public, highlighted his early career. He felt that this recent find would, without doubt, eclipse all others and be his crowning achievement. Yet, nothing had prepared him for the mind-numbing fate about to befall him.
The sweat in his eyes was a mixture of heat and nerves. The camels lumbered across the hot desert of Syria, equipment lashed to their backs, the late summer heat turning everything into branding irons. A moving dot coming from beyond the distant mountain backdrop caught his eye. He reached for the pair of binoculars dangling at the end of a
black strap from the saddle. “Damn,” he yelled, dropping them. “Bloody hot thing!” As the dot became larger, the outline of a helicopter traveling over the dunes toward Mustafa became clearer.
“What the … ?” Mustafa said, jerking the camels to a stop. Another tug on the reins and the camels settled to the ground as he slid off the lead. A tan-and-khaki-painted chopper hovered close enough to blast a blinding, stinging spray of sand at him and his camels. He covered his eyes while peeking at this oddity. That’s crazy. What the bloody hell is going on?
The well-worn chopper had no other markings except the visible desert camouflage colors. When the doors slid open, three men dressed in black uniforms and armed with rifles slung over their shoulders jumped to the desert floor and moved quickly toward Mustafa.
Section Two - The Science of Intuition
This section includes the latest mind/brain research and the links to intuition. Here is an excerpt:
Our minds are much more powerful than we realize. Our limits are selfimposed. We don’t believe, for example, that we have any intuitive abilities. Yet, Dr. Russell Targ says in his book Limitless Mind, “Most people have the ability to describe and experience events and locations that are blocked from ordinary perception.” Beliefs, perception, and experience reinforce each other. Our willingness to examine and question any self-limiting belief
is a necessary step in our advancement toward healing past wounds and becoming more of what we truly are, limitless.
Section Three - Your Greatest Gift
This section is filled with easy to follow. These practical step-by-step instructions give you exercises to develop your intuition.
Excerpt
Although I have been teaching people for years to use their intuitive powers, it wasn’t until I decided to write this book that I systematized the process. But this, like everything, is made up, so try the process and make it your own—and if it doesn’t work, try a different way.
What follows are the steps I use to enhance the practice of intuition:
Allowing, Attention, Trusting, Asking, and Evaluating.
